Roles in the board currently work by allowing users with certain permissions access to restricted features. Anyone can view bounties, but restrictions are in place for:

• Create, Edit, Delete (Own)
• Claim, Edit, Delete (Existing)
• Admin

Admin is a role that gives permissions to access all functionality. As of time of writing, we give this to certain bankless users and anyone in particular servers. Permissions are scoped for that server.

Admin Edit and Delete

Normally, edits can be made to Open bounties, but not once the bounty has been claimed. This is to prevent retroactive changing of bounty terms once underway. This is fine but there are instances where we need to edit bounties after the fact. Requirements below:

• Stage 1: Full Edit to in-flight bounties
  • Admin edit bounties allows editing of InProgress or Deleted bounties
  • Add the route to prevent user without edit bounties permission from editing someone else’s bounty
• Stage 2: Partial Edit or permissioned edits by fields
