One fateful day in college, while dutifully studying the day away, a friend invited me to join a small group going to the campus rec center. He didn’t know at the time that he was introducing me to what would become my favorite sport for years to come, but we had a blast while that group was together. Within 2 years, I grew to be an instructor with the outdoor leadership program at Tech called ORGT, and had the opportunity to climb in beautiful places like Red River Gorge, the Colorado Rockies, and Yosemite on my own trips after graduation.
