Next: Packster Rhythms
Just like Mother Nature has her rhythms, so too must humans.
One of our most notable observations over the years has been how strongly routine plays a role in keeping people on path or accountable to themselves. With all the technology at our disposal, we have more distractions than ever to keep us busy (but not always productive).
If you watch wolves in the wild, or even just in documentaries, you'll learn how packs establish routines to keep everyone in "harmony." This same principle applies to human beings.
Another notable observation of ours is how technology, and potentially individualistic thinking, has pulled us away from staying in sync with Nature's rhythms. This has come at a cost whereby our relationship with nature has become one of detatchment and disposability, versus being perceived as one and the same (therefore being able to have "personal" relationships with it).
Many indigenous societies have their spirituality and culture rooted in land. This ensures a deep understanding of what happens to them, impacts the environment, and what happens to the environment, impacts them. Without this fundamental awareness or belief, one destroys the other. The same of notion of "what goes around, comes around."
So when it comes to rhythm & timing in your personal productivity, be aware that the symbolism of "the wolf" teaches us to get in sync with ourselves, our packs, and our environments. They are all connected.
So to begin with, for yourself, start establishing a routine (a regular habit) you can commit to. Start small. You may already have one connected with brushing your teeth each morning. Great. Now it's time to establish a healthy routine connected to your goals.
