About Rexi

Financial institutions process trillions of dollars every year. Behind every transaction, there is a reconciliation problem waiting to happen. Today, most of that work is done manually: spreadsheets, email threads, and entire teams of people whose job is to chase down discrepancies. It is slow, error-prone, and completely unscalable.

Rexi is the AI-native reconciliation engine built to fix that. We automate the investigation and resolution of financial discrepancies across banks, payment processors, fintechs, insurers, and marketplaces. We are the infrastructure layer that makes financial operations actually work.

But reconciliation is just the beginning.

Our long-term vision is to become the AI operating system for financial operations. Starting with reconciliation as the wedge, we will progressively deploy agents to automate the entire FinOps function: exception management, regulatory reporting, cash positioning, intercompany settlements, treasury ops, FP&A, and beyond. Think of it as the Claude for FinOps. A system that does not just flag problems but investigates, resolves, and learns. One that turns a function that has historically required armies of people into something that runs autonomously.

The team and backing:

Rexi was incubated at MIT, where we won the Demo Day of MIT Fintech Ventures. We have also won competitions at Harvard: NFX (NFX Fast), Pear VC (Pear Competition), and Columbia: AI Fintech Challenge. We are backed by Underscore VC, Flybridge, NFX, Pear VC, and Textbook Ventures. Our founding team combines deep expertise in financial infrastructure, AI systems, and enterprise software. We have paying customers and a proven product. Now we are building the team to scale it.


The Opportunity

We’re three Latin American founders, two of us based in New York, building in one of the most relationship-driven industries in the world. And we know our biggest constraint right now isn’t product. It’s distribution. More specifically: network (breadth and reach).

We need someone already inside this ecosystem. Someone with real relationships in US financial services who can walk into a room and be taken seriously. Someone who wants to be the person that opened this market.

This is a Founding GTM role. Not an entry-level sales job. You will work directly with Ignacio (CEO and Co-Founder), own the top of the funnel, and have a direct line of sight to the company's growth trajectory. As we scale, this role becomes the foundation of our entire GTM function.

Two things explain why a pre-seed company is making this hire now.

The first is brand and reputation. In a world where AI compresses the cost of building software to near zero, product and technology will become commodities. What will differentiate Rexi long-term is not what we ship, but how the market perceives us and who trusts us. Building that starts now, before the market consolidates.

The second is distribution. We have a functional product. We are fast at building what customers need on the fly. The bottleneck for our growth is no longer what we can ship. It is how we reach, convince, and close the institutions that need us. That is what this role solves for.
