At Revisit, we are committed to providing a powerful tool for saving and organizing your favorite content while respecting your privacy. This policy explains how your data is handled.
1. Data Collection and Usage
Revisit is designed with a "Local First" philosophy.
- Personal Data: We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address to use the core features of the app.
- Content & Media: All links, titles, descriptions, and screenshots you save are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your saved "Revisits."
- Image Processing: Any image compression or processing happens entirely on your device.
2. Third-Party Services
To provide specific features, we interact with the following services:
- RevenueCat: Used to manage your Pro subscriptions and verify your access to premium features. RevenueCat may collect anonymous device identifiers to process transactions.
- Metadata Extraction: When you share a link, the app fetches metadata (titles/images) directly from the source URL (e.g., Facebook, Instagram). This data is fetched by your device and is not routed through our servers.
3. Local Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device.
- Data Portability: Because your data is local, deleting the app will delete your saved content unless you have backed up your device via iCloud or manual exports.
4. Subscription Information
Revisit offers auto-renewable subscriptions.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
