Review Finder ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users research companies during a job search. This policy describes what data the Extension does and does not collect.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data.

The Extension does not collect, transmit, store remotely, or share any information about you, your identity, your browsing history, or the companies you research.

Local Storage

The Extension stores one piece of information in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local): the name of the last company you searched. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never transmitted to any server
• Is never accessible to anyone other than you
• Can be deleted at any time by clicking "Clear" in the extension popup, or by uninstalling the extension

Websites the Extension Accesses

The Extension's content script runs only on linkedin.com/company/* pages. It reads the company name displayed on the page in order to pre-fill the research panel. It does not read, record, or transmit any other content from LinkedIn or any other website.

When you click a research button, the Extension opens Glassdoor (glassdoor.ca) and/or Blind (teamblind.com) in new tabs using a standard URL with the company name. Your interaction with those sites is governed by their own privacy policies.

No Analytics, No Tracking

The Extension contains no analytics code, no tracking pixels, no crash reporters, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a future version, the updated policy will be linked from the Chrome Web Store listing.
