Review Bot is a tool for automating tasks on code uploaded to a Review Board instance, and posting the results as a code review. Review Bot was built to automate the execution of static analysis tools.

Review Bot consists of three main parts:

• The Extension — A Review Board extension which detects new review requests and queues them for processing. The Extension also provides the Web API and the configuration UI in Review Board's admin panel.
• The Message Queue — Review Bot distributes analysis using Celery, a distributed task queue. The Message Queue is where each task is queued by the Extension, and consumed by the Workers.
• Workers — These are processes created by servers running an instance of celery. Workers wait for messages from the Message Queue, and perform the static analysis review. The worker then posts the result of the review to Review Board using the Web API.

Install rabbitmq-server

Follow the instructions linked below to install rabbitmq-server.

Verify that your RabbitMQ server is running by running rabbitmqctl status.

Configuring RabbitMQ

Now that it’s running, let’s create a user and a vhost for the URL:
