Retrospect ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

## Data We Collect

**Account Information**
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. This is used solely to create and identify your account.

**User Content**
Notes, reflections (Liked, Learned, Longed For, Lacked), and actions you create in the app are stored in your account. This content is yours. We use it to provide the app's core features and, if you are a Pro subscriber, to generate personalized AI-powered insights.

**Account Identifier**
We assign an internal user ID to link your data to your account across devices.

**Subscription Status**
If you subscribe to Retrospect Pro, your purchase is processed through Apple and managed via RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment card details.

**Preferences**
Your app settings (such as retro day, theme, and notification preferences) are stored to maintain a consistent experience across sessions.

## How We Use Your Data

- To authenticate you and keep your account secure
- To sync your content across your devices
- To generate AI-powered insights from your own reflections (Pro only)
- To manage your subscription status
- To respond to support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

## Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

- **Firebase / Firestore (Google)** — authentication and data storage
- **RevenueCat** — subscription management
- **Google Sign-In** — authentication
- **Apple Sign-In** — authentication

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers.

## Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the app.

## Children's Privacy

Retrospect is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

## Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above.
