Left my job in January 2020 to travel (on pause) and teach myself Software Engineering. What drew me to this was the idea of using data in any field (healthcare, education, sports, etc.) to improve something as efficiently as possible. I would love to work with data that furthers humanity in some way. I also love problem solving and working with creative minds.
Previously worked as an Electrical Engineer in the utilities industry at Pepco for 4.5 years, more specifically with underground radial feeders in downtown Washington DC. Also approved solar applications from contractors and engineers which included on-site visits and running power flows.
My interests include tea, movies, music, board games (especially chess), reading, traveling, learning, biking and yoga. I love spending time with family and friends and have met amazing people in Washington D.C. and in my travels across the world.
