Your restaurant restaurant layout on Eat App is an integral part of the table management and online reservation experience. Managing tables and reservations is all dependent on having your restaurant layout set up the right way to make the most of your table management system.


How to edit your restaurant layout

When you first launch Eat App, you'll notice that your restaurant is already populated with a few default restaurant layout. These layouts may work for some restaurants, but for a more personalized experience we recommend editing your restaurant layout.

To edit your restaurant layout, you can either click the "Edit layout" button on the top right hand side of floor view or from the settings tab on the bottom left hand side of the app.

Adding tables

Adding tables to your restaurant layout can be achieved in one of two ways:

  1. Click and drag a table from the "Table Shape" panel.
  2. Select a shape from the "Table Shape" panel and tap or click on the floor to place your table.

Renaming tables

To rename a table, click on the table that you want to change and on the table details panel on the left type in a new name or table number.
