If you want to understand what your job seekers are doing on a weekly, monthly or even quarterly basis, the Advisor Portal Reports section is the place to go.

How to use the reports

The first thing to understand about the reports view is that data for all of the charts is being filtered by the date range at the top right, and any additional filters you apply on the top bar of the dashboard. This means that if you have questions about the past week of data, you need to ensure you select that date range from filter, or if you just care about the job seekers assigned to you as an advisor, you also need to ensure that you select your name under the Assigned Advisor filter.

Remember to modify the date range at the top of the Reports section to expand/contract the date range you are analyzing data for.

⚙️ The filters

Date Range

Many of the individual metrics in the Reports view analyze data based on the date range selected at the top right of the page. For example, say you’re looking at the Activity Counts

Custom fields

This filter lets you filter report data by any Custom Job Seeker fields you have created as an organization. For example, say you've created a campus field and a cohort field, then this filter allows you to show data only for job seekers from a specific campus or cohort.

Account state

Job seeker accounts may be manually deactivated (Deactivating & Deleting Job Seekers ) by an advisor. If you only want to show data for active job seeker accounts, you can select the active value in the Account State filter.
