Howdy, VR Jammers!

First of all: From the bottom of our hearts - thanks for signing up and joining us in our quest to make Alloverse the best collaborative VR platform in the world! Your pioneering efforts are very, very appreciated.

As we’re closing in on our little hackathon, we’d like to remind you that the official kick-off takes place in the #jam-voice Discord channel (https://discord.gg/GHtB9YFu) at 14:00 (CET).

That said, it’s probably a good idea to join the #jam-general channel ahead of time - especially if you’re looking for a hacking partner, have questions or just want to bounce some ideas.

As you join, please spend a few minutes considering the following:

• Would you like to hack in a group, or individually?
• What’s your team name?
• What are you aiming to build?
• What type of t-shirt would you like (male or female, size)? And to which address should we send it once it’s back from the print shop?

Once you’ve got the answers, reach out to an admin and we’ll provide you with a link to your own virtual Place and a Discord team channel.

Finally, you might want to consider doing the “getting started” guide (https://docs.alloverse.com/) to produce a basic AlloApp as a starting point for your development.

We’ve earmarked the first hour for the above preparations, but there’s nothing stopping you from getting ready sooner.

When we start hacking at 15:00, you have 24 hours to realise your ideas. You may, of course, spend as much or as little time as you want or need, but make sure to finish up before 15:00 on Sunday 28th.
