1.1. Algorand Online Tournaments (the Tournament) is the series of events at the FIDE Online Arena. The organiser of the Tournaments is World Chess Events LTD.
1.2. Algorand a world-class blockchain powering secure and efficient frictionless exchange.
1.3. The Tournaments' are aim to increase awareness about Algorand company and blockchain algorithms.
2. PARTICIPATION
2.1. Any player registered at the FIDE Online Arena (https://arena.myfide.net/) has the right to participate.
2.2. Only capable persons who have reached the age of 18 (eighteen) years old and having an account on the arena.myfide.net website can take part in the Tournaments.
2.3. By competing in the event, each participant agrees that his/her real (legal) name will be shown in his/her personal profile, while his/her games are in progress. Anonymous players accounts or accounts found to be using unreal names will either have their name changed by the tournament staff, or be removed from the tournament. The Organiser has the right to publish in the starting lists the real names of the participants and their nicknames they use at arena.myfide.net platform for the participation in the Tournament.
2.4. By signing up each player agrees to abide by the Regulations of the tournament, including the anti-cheating rules specified as follows.
2.5. Registrations is available online at the FIDE Online Arena by joining the Tournament.
3. SYSTEM OF PLAY
3.2. Time Control: 3 min + 2 sec increment per move
3.3. Pairing System - Swiss (FIDE Online Arena Algorithm)
3.4. Tiebreaks: all standings shown at the FIDE Online Arena final result table are the places taken as the final standings.
