A specific sub-ethnic group of Italians, who are mostly famous for dual brown/red hair color and eyes, living near Rome, in a city called Città Rossa - where all exterior walls are painted red.
In the past they were named Red Romans. When Italia became a country, they adopted the Red Italians name.
The Red Italians mostly live in isolation in their city but do accept strangers integrating into their society for new blood.
Some of the Red Italians emigrated to other countries - mainly neighbouring countries.
Some have joined Le Vol and keep a good relationship with them - and therefore have a good relationship with their masters, the De Lorre family.
They are, so far, the ethnics along with the Blue Asians, who has the highest affinity to aura.
The group - as for expressing the hair/eye color phenotype - is nearly extinct.
Their city was destroyed and a large part of the population was exterminated during the Second War. Even though their city was rebuilt, the Red Italians never really recovered from this.
