Equipment

1: MICROPHONE

For the best recording experience, use an external microphone. If you don’t have one, you might want to check if you can borrow one from a friend or you could select one from this list of recommended podcasting microphones.

If you can’t get a suitable microphone, use a headset or set of smartphone earbuds (but not AirPods! the link explains why.) If you are unable to find or get a set of earbuds then you can use your computer’s microphone.

2: HEADPHONES

Please use headphones during the call (these can be AirPods but it may be difficult to set your microphone up correctly when using them). Headphones are important to prevent feedback or echoing from other members of the call.
