Recording Zoom meetings

There are two ways to record Zoom meeting:

1. Local recording: The meeting recording is saved to your computer hard drive.
2. Cloud recording: The meeting recording is saved to the host's Zoom cloud recordings.

We suggest to always use Cloud recording.

Sharing Recordings

• All Zoom Cloud recordings can be found in the host's Zoom account under the Recordings section.
• From there you can download the video, delete it or share access to the cloud recording to others
• You can adjust the sharing settings and then just copy the sharing information and add it to your meeting Notion page.

Recording without the host being present

If the host is not able to attend the meeting, there are two ways to have those meetings recorded:

1. Assign an alternative host
   • Alternative hosts can be assigned in the Zoom meeting's advanced options.
   • Alternative host can start the meeting and record it without the host being present.

1. Toggle Automatically record meeting
   • The host can toggle this option in the Zoom meeting's advanced options.
   • This will start the recording as soon as the meeting starts, without the host being present.
