Re:frame collects information directly from you when you create an account, complete journals or reflections, set reminders, or otherwise interact with the app. We also collect limited information automatically when you use our Services, such as device information and app activity.
We use this information to provide and personalize your journaling experience, help you build consistent habits, deliver insights and reflections, improve our product features, communicate with you, maintain safety and security, comply with legal obligations, and, where you consent, enable optional or promotional features.
We disclose information only in limited circumstances—such as to service providers who help us operate and improve Re:frame, to affiliated companies or in connection with business transfers, to legal authorities when required, or with your consent.
When you register for an account or set up a profile, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number (through our authentication provider).
Within the app, you may provide journal entries, reflections, goals, habits, check-ins, or other personal data you voluntarily input. This content is encrypted and stored securely on our servers and is accessible only to you through your account.
If you enable notifications or reminders, we process device tokens to send scheduled journaling or habit prompts. If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide, such as descriptions of issues and any additional details needed to resolve them.
If you make in-app purchases or subscribe to premium features, we collect billing details through secure third-party payment processors.
With your permission, Re:frame may store local usage data (e.g., journaling frequency, completion streaks, and reminder times) to enhance your experience and surface insights.
We may also collect diagnostic and usage data such as IP address, device model, operating system, app version, and crash logs to maintain reliability and improve performance.
