Identity and Access Management

We use FreeIPA (IPA: Identity, Policy, and Auditing) to configure the “Identity Management,” along with network mounted home. The alternative would be configuring individual systems one-by-one and keeping track of everything.

• Setup IPA client
• Network mount the home folder from [datasets.rrc.iiit.ac.in](<http://datasets.rrc.iiit.ac.in>) (the black server). This is only if you’re not setting up the black server itself as a client (on the IPA).
• IPA Portal setup: Go to ssipa.rrcx.tk portal
