Tales of Honor is an OSR-style tabletop role-playing game that takes thematic and mechanical inspiration from For Honor.
The System is based on tactical and complex combat with a handful of weapon-based abilities. The combat is supposed to be crunchy. Everything aside from combat is fairly narrative-driven, with aspects like social interactions and even skill checks relying heavily on roleplay.
People call out actions one after the other, then all actions happen simultaneously in competition with each other.
This is best suited for historical fantasy in settings such as medieval Europe, ancient China, or Rome.
Power scaling is not as vertical as games like D&D or Pathfinder; a new character will be on a similar level of power as a character 30 AP in. A threat on 5 AP is still a threat on 15 or even 30 AP.
The game name is meant to be shortened to “ToH”, pronounced like “tuhh” [tɜʰːː]
