66 years old | Retired Quality Inspector

I am married, a father, and a grandfather. At this stage of my life, I am retired, but I haven’t been idle.

For the past 30 years, I have volunteered because I love this beautiful village. I frequently participate in the village festivities, both as an organizer and a cook.

Currently, I serve as Vice President of the Social and Recreational Center of Foz do Arelho. I have also had the opportunity to be a member of the Board of the Social Solidarity Association of Foz do Arelho (the local retirement home) and a member of the Parish Assembly in 2013 and again during the last term (2021–2025).

Everything about Foz fascinates me! I was born and raised here, in Vale Moleiro. If I hadn’t loved it, I wouldn’t have left Canada, a country that welcomed me for 23 years, where I worked as a Quality Inspector. Fate had it that at 35, I returned to my beloved homeland, and here I stayed, working at ROL until my retirement.

Today, I am the third candidate on this list. I am grateful to be able to work alongside Pedro and Guadalupe: two young people full of drive, well-mannered, honest, and sharing the same ambitions as me: to work with transparency, keep our village clean, and never forget to preserve the traditions of our land.
