RMC 3D Printing Studio Overview
- The 3D Printing Studio houses 9 FDM printers that (after a quick training) are free and open to anyone at the University!
- Our missions is to make the learning and usage of 3D printers user friendly, accessible, free of cost, and inclusive to all.
- Our primary users are beginning to intermediate 3D printer users who would like to learn about 3D printing or use our 3D printers for personal and academic work
- We offer group trainings, workshops and classes, as well as 3D printing events to help students learn and master 3D printing technology and be better prepared for future jobs
3D Printing Studio Service Change Spring 2021
- 3D Printing Studio will not open to the public during the pandemic. Instead, we will print the models for you if it is related to a course that has been approved by the RMC staff.
- We also allow for personal projects on a first come first serve basis when we are not working on academic related requests
- There is no guaranteed turn-around time on this new service due to limited staff labor; users will receive notification when their prints are available for pickup.
- Email [email protected] if you have any 3D printing requests.
