Q1: Tell me all about you and your brand/project

We’re shifting focus to a goal we can all get behind. One that has room for racial plurality. We want everyone to be able to see themselves represented and welcome in our Collective. Championing Sector-wide change for anti-racism.

We aim to: - Be a platform where BAME iD professionals can exchange ideas and experiences - Facilitate inter-sector networking and collaboration between the private sector, public sector and NGOs - Foster opportunities for mentorship and career development - Inspire the next generation of BAME iD professionals Most importantly, we have learned that our sector deserves more. In a context that is inherently global, BAME does not acknowledge the national and ethnic identities that exist and are experienced outside of the Global North and this is a disservice to the very aim of development. We should be ready to denounce the term BAME and acknowledge that, actually, what we in the Global North deem as ‘minority’ is actually the Global Majority. We are REDI Collective. Racial Equity Diversity and Inclusion
