Did something spark your interest in the Bankless Academy project? Do you want to learn more about the project? Then you're at the right place! This quickstart guide aims to provide you with the basic knowledge about what Bankless Academy is and how you can get involved in the project.
In short: Bankless Academy is the name of a major educational product of the Bankless DAO. Its goal is to educate as many people as possible, with the best content possible, conveyed in the most easy & fun way. It will be a mix of text, illustrations, videos and interactive quests. This program will generate cash flow for the DAO in the future.
The community has decided to focus on bridging people from the centralised exchanges (crypto banks) over to self custody of crypto (wallets) and using a DeFi protocol in our MVP1. Aave is currently looked at for integration in Bankless Academy as the first DeFi course, after the wallet course. We're also talking to Aave about funding the project, possibly extending to Uniswap and other protocols later on.

Great! Thank you for your initiative 😁. Let's dive into the different tools we use to structure information and keep coordinated between multiple guilds.
To keep all information structured and in 1 place, we use Notion as our wiki & task board. The wiki includes all decisions that have been made, research, course content, unstructured content & ideas, people's availability, definitions, a roadmap and more.
To check out the Bankless Academy Notion workspace we invite you to read the summary page of the current state of the project and check out the join and help view of the open tasks board. To see what courses we're working on, what course ideas we have gathered and what content we already have, check out the Bankless Academy Content Overview page. If you're interested in learning about what guilds are involved and what they're up to, check out the Bankless Academy Guild Coordination page, which also contains all coordination meeting notes. Last but not least, if you're interested in what has laid the foundation for the actual look and feel for the product that we're going to build, you should definitely check out the research from DidierKrux about other educational tools.
