Nietszche said you "can judge a man by how much truth he can handle.' Operating in a manner which does not destroy our planet is something we just have to face as humans. Adapting our underlying Austrian or Keynesian economic system to one modeling natural systems principles is the system that does so in the least autocratic and most natural way possible.

The human economy is entirely an extension of the natural ecosystem and we're effectively strangling the goose that makes the eggs we live off

You could also throw in how the Maya, Ancient Greeks, Iceland Vikings among others had their civilizations decline or collapse due to environmental degradation

All stories or obvious conflicts with reality.

• Outline principles to mimic nature
  • No waste, everything is cyclical
  • System is local and diverse - no monopolies
  • The system is hierarchical – Everything plays it’s part, with disincentives to expand (/no incentive for ever increasing growth)
  • The system values multiple factors rather than prioritizing one (GDP/efficiency of capital returns)
  • The system is balanced – constantly fluctuating within a window between efficiency and resiliency
  • The system is competitive — it is able to adapt to the environment, better alternatives can outcompete existing ones
