I made some changes to the old UI/UX of the Quickteller Landing page and the Pay Bills Biller Section.
On the old Landing Page, I moved all the icons from the left of the page to the center of the page. My reason is this; Design Hierarchy improves designs a lot and it catches the attention of the users.
I added some Hover effects on the shapes and icons which was not on the old quickteller page. The reason is this; a good UX gives a user comfort and the user feels safe on that particular page.
On the old page, the design hierarchy is poor, the
Quickteller paypoint at the top right corner is almost not visible, so I brought it just below the page and it's more visible now.
I also change the Icons to more simpler icons on the page, and the idea is to keep the design sleek and simple. You don't want too much going on, on the page.
On the old Page, when you click on Pay Bills, I really don't enjoy the UX, on the new page i designed, I introduced an overlay that opens when you click on the Pay Bills Icon. The overlay opens, and you get to scroll to your preferred biller. And when you hover on your preferred biller, e.g. Cable TV, another overlay opens just beside it for you to select from the list. When you click on DSTV for example, it takes you to the official DSTV site for your payment.
Now that COVID-19 is still spreading out around the country, i have used the blue tab bar at the top of the page as a notice tab to catch the attention of the users and probably visit the link to get the latest news on COVID-19.
You can also toggle between the countries using the flag icons on the search bar. this is also another feature i maintained from the old design because of its effectiveness.
I added sliders to the new design as well and 20% opacity on their respective overlays to make it sleek and produce a nice user experience.
