Saffron Valley:

A mainly arid region characterised by sedimentary rocks, and jade-green vegetation along the rivers. It’s a medium to hard spawn region that allows players to hide in small holes in the walls and jump from rock pillar to rock pillar in order to survive in this somewhat dangerous region. It’s connected to the Lichen Drylands and the Hollow Desert.

Lichen drylands:

An dry region characterised by walls with holes, very few twisted trees and open fields, one of the rare places where argentavis can be found. Though traditional vegetation is very rare, the entire landscape is covered in colorful lichen. Local fauna is composed in majority by feathered creatures such as Yutyranus and Deynonichus. It’s connected to the Taiga Highlands, Floral Crater and the Saffron Valley.

Hollow Desert:

Small desert allowing passage into the underground ocean. The landscape is characterised by jagged small cliffs and a massive hole in the middle of the biome. Local fauna is comprised of usual dune spawns on Scorched Earth. It acts as a barrier between the Gilded Alps and the Saffron valley.

Gilded Alps:

A hilly valley characterised by yellow fields and purple trees. Similar in terms of creature spawns to the Floral Crater but with more mammals and northern creatures such as Daeodons and Mammoths. It acts as the second easiest spawn region and offers a wider selection of possible tames with a slightly harder difficulty. It connects to the Floral Crater, Hollow Desert and the Taiga Highlands.

Taiga Highlands:

This biome is Characterised by it’s classic redwood vibe but with slightly more elevation. It’s role is to house spawns for some of the most mobile creatures such as Yi Ling and Thylacoleo. It acts as a gamble if you want to go to the Lichen Drylands as it’s faster but more dangerous alternative to the Floral Garden. It connects to the Gilded Alps and Lichen Dryland.
