Face Shadow SDF — User Guide
Automatically generates anime-style face shadow SDF textures. Output in RGBA format that can be directly applied to lilToon's _FaceShadowTexture.
Quick Start — Apply a Preset Instantly
The SDF_Presets folder includes preset SDF images for 10 avatars. If your avatar matches one of the presets, you can apply it directly without generating one yourself.
- Find the SDF image for your avatar in the SDF_Presets folder
- Select the lilToon material that has the face texture applied
- Change the shadow mask type to SDF
- Assign the preset SDF image to the corresponding slot
- Adjust lilToon's shadow settings to fine-tune the shadow. (Setting Blur and Receive Shadow to 0 first makes it easier to adjust)
If your avatar isn't in the presets or you want to generate your own, follow the guide below.
Prerequisites
- Open the TextureColorKit window and assign the avatar's Head object to the "Add from Root" field
- Activate the target that contains the face mesh
