Use this checklist during your 90-minute (or longer) CEO planning session to review, reset, and prepare for the next quarter.

Before you begin
- [ ] Block a non-negotiable 90-minute to 4-hour time slot on your calendar.
- [ ] Choose a distraction-free location (coffee shop, office, co-working space, etc.).
- [ ] Bring your planner, notebook, laptop, charger, and project management system.
- [ ] Silence notifications and commit to uninterrupted focus.
Step 1: Quarterly Business Audit
- [ ] Review last quarter’s revenue, expenses, and profit margin.
- [ ] Identify your most profitable or most enjoyable work.
- [ ] Note tasks that drained energy or felt inefficient.
- [ ] Evaluate time tracking: planned hours vs. actual hours worked.
- [ ] Review key metrics (conversion rates, lead sources, social growth, etc.).
Step 2: Define 3–5 Quarterly Objectives (QOs)
- [ ] Set measurable outcome-based goals (not task lists).
- [ ] Ensure each objective supports long-term business growth.
- [ ] Clarify what success looks like by the end of the quarter.
Step 3: Break objectives into monthly milestones
- [ ] Divide each QO into three manageable monthly milestones.
- [ ] List all major tasks required to reach completion.
- [ ] Organize tasks inside your project management system.
