Bio

After his masters in Sociology in 2016, Ruben started to work as a policy advisor at a local home health organisation where he research the effectiveness of autonomous teams. Since then, he has worked in several research and advisory roles, helping home health organisations work more bottom-up and less top down, among other things.

After these advisory roles, Ruben decided he wanted to get more involved in the quality of care. Six months ago, he started at BetterHealthForAll as the Advisor Quality and Policy where he is responsible for spotting ways to improve health care outcomes. He likes that is work is so diverse: he is involved with incidents and complaints, and learning from these, information management, and improving collaboration across the organisation.

Ruben continues to very interested in how people interact with each other and how they can better work together to improve health care in The Netherlands.
