1. Introduction

<aside> 💡 Qannas wasn’t just a platform — it was an opportunity to simplify investing for everyone.

<aside> It gives users the ability to discover investment opportunities, talk about them with others, learn from mentors, and manage their portfolio — all in one place.

I joined the team as a Product Designer with the goal of completely redesigning the product experience. I worked on revamping the Marketplace, Community, and Investment Portfolio sections from the ground up.

I also helped the team by creating a full design system, running user research, improving the information architecture, and exploring revenue strategies that matched both user needs and business goals.

On top of that, the business team wanted to increase engagement, build loyalty, and create new revenue streams — all while keeping things simple and beginner-friendly.

4. The challenge

<aside> Qannas needed to bring together complex investment tools, social interaction, and financial education, without overwhelming users.

We had to design a platform that worked for both beginners and advanced investors, built trust in the product, and gave users a reason to come back.
