$QUEST is the native token for Future Quest DAO. Think of the model like a cooperatively owned organization with its own currency. The token serves four primary functions:
QUEST is backed by real assets
Unlike most crypto tokens, $QUEST is partially backed by a treasury of assets that support its price. The treasury will hold a combination of DeFi focused crypto assets, as well as tokens, or tokenized equity, of the companies the DAO invests in.
The DeFi assets will be actively managed to ensure that we are aligned with the developing crypto ecosystem.
We are working on a “DeFi 3.0” model which draws from experience and analysis of 2021 and 2022 projects.
Once the DAO economy stabilizes, token holders will have the right to redeem their $QUEST for a proportionate share of the treasury assets. They will not receive a share of the operations budget on claim. New tokens will also be able to be generated by investors through a bonding curve.

Vote on important issues
If you want to have a direct say in the governance of the DAO, your tokens give you voting rights. You can either vote directly on important issues, or delegate your votes to a trusted party who is more involved in the day to day DAO operations. More details can be found in:
Buy things within the Future Quest ecosystem
Future Quest will partner with businesses and encourage them to accept $QUEST for their products at a discounted rate. This will start with Future Horizon and over time extend into other businesses in our extended network.
