Setting Up Customers

• [ ] Have a list of customer on a spreadsheet? upload it to QuickBooks

• [ ] Gear ⇒ Import Data ⇒ Customers ⇒ Customer List Data (excel or csv file)

  • QuickBooks will import the data into the QBO template, make sure the Name and last name are in one column to avoid extra work later on.

  Example: Excel file, first name and last name in 1 column.

Import customer or vendor contacts to QuickBooks Online

Add a customer

1. Go to the Sales menu.
2. Select the Customers tab
3. Select New Customer.
4. Enter your customer’s info.
5. Select Save.
