I've never thought about this kind of thing. When I create a character, I never think about such things. I think about the personality they have, what person or role they are, how they act, and how the design, if I want it to, conveys that.
As for Lobotomy Corp
Personally speaking, I guess I think of them as all the same ethnicity or nationality, since I don't think it's worth fantasizing about. Korean name, Japanese name, or some European name.
