PuppetVendors "the App" provides vendor commissions and payouts management and e-commerce related reporting "the service" to business owners who use Shopify to power their online presence. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

1. Personal Information PuppetVendor Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account which are as follows:

1.1 View Shopify account data

We collect your store name, contact information (email address & phone number), shop currency, and shop timezone for identification and access purposes. Without your store name, we cannot sync your store with other stores. We use your email/phone number to communicate product feature roll-outs, important updates, and information. Other shop information are used to be able to better provide you with the services of PuppetVendors.

1.2 API Scopes

• read_all_orders (We use this for importing existing orders from your store)
• read_products (We use this for running initial data sync to the app)
• read_orders (We use these to gather the most recent 30 days of orders and orders going forward after the installation to be able to calculate the sales, commissions and payouts)
• read_inventory (We use these to be able to pull the "cost_per_item" field on a product variant. This value will be used to determine the profit metric for each item)
• read_reports & read_analytics (We will be using these to provide you with better e-commerce insights in the upcoming product releases)
