Pulsium Pulse is a live DJ engagement platform that connects DJs, event owners, and audiences in real time. During a live set, the audience scans a QR code, sees what's playing now, and votes on each track from 1 to 10 — no login required. Pulsium Pulse is part of the Pulsium ecosystem, alongside Pulsium Vault (tracklist platform) and Pulsium Signal (music analysis for producers).

How It Works — The Big Picture

The complete flow from event creation to live voting works in three phases:

Setup Phase

  1. Event Owner logs in at /pulse and creates an event at /pulse/app
  2. The system generates: event slug, audience URL, dashboard URL, and QR code
  3. Event Owner opens the dashboard and generates a temporary Pair Code

Pairing Phase

  1. DJ opens the Desktop Companion app on their Mac or Windows PC
  2. DJ pastes the Pair Code and clicks Connect to Web App
  3. The Desktop app pairs securely with the backend using challenge-response authentication
