Be a Tree Tender graduate with some experience pruning.
Take the PHS Adv Pruning & Pruning Club exam and submit to [email protected]. (download document right below)
Participate in at least 3 pruning events/workshops (Click Here for upcoming opportunities)
Get the sign-off from a pruning club leader showing competency in the following areas (download document right below)
Please let us know when you are holding a pruning club event, especially if you are able to host other TTs who would like to help and learn! Review the documents below and fill out the registration. ATTENTION Philly Leaders: please let us know at least 1 week in advance of your event so we can notify the street tree office.

For TT planted street and public trees. Distribute at least 1 week in advance to owners. For trees not planted by Tree Tenders a signed permission form is required (see below) If outside Philly, contact your municipality directly.
Use this “Opt In” written permission for private TT planted yard trees and public/street trees not planted by Tree Tenders
