Random but IMPORTANT WaterJet things to know
- NEVER LEAVE THE WATERJET ON UNATTENDED
- NEVER LEAVE THE WATERJET RUNNING UNATTENDED
- Debris and materials on the bed may have sharp edges due to the cutting process so take care when you’re loading and unloading materials
- Stagnant water in the machine may contain disease causing bacteria so make sure to wear gloves and goggles when interacting with the machine
- Goggles are located on the shelves above the sink.
- Updating links: NFC tags, QR codes, Notion (equipment page, front page frequently used, resources page)
- To use the machine, DXF files must be converted to OMAX files using the ProtoMAX Layout program
- ALWAYS run test cuts when you’re using a material for the first time to know what settings will give you your desired results
- Use the Wiggle Test to ensure that your part was cut out of the material
