The Cryptids are a population of beings with traits that vary in endless ways. Most of them are utterly devoid of cooperation, existing only to rampage however they please.

However, among them, there were also groups that shared a common lineage of characteristics. Some possessed high intelligence, protected one another, and formed cooperative packs that allowed them to stand against even superior foes.

This, in itself, was proof that even among the Cryptids, who live purely by their instincts to battle without fear of death, genuine intellect could reside. Thus, it was inevitable that the Insectars would eventually branch off from the Cryptids.

The “World-Destroying Dragon” Ivarage let out the first cry of her evolution. It was a new birth.

As soon as the rainbow-colored cocoon enveloped Ivarage, her body began to be reconstructed from within.

For a spiritual lifeform, appearance and size could be altered freely, but Ivarage, who had previously been a mindless existence, had no fixed form. As energy continued to accumulate, she grew larger, taking on a grotesque and terrifyingly evil shape that could make one tremble with fear.

Such was Ivarage until now, but through evolution, she was about to undergo a dramatic transformation.

Her size shrank, becoming equivalent to that of a human child. With an enormous amount of energy condensed into her form, her very presence radiated an otherworldly despair.
