The company managed several mobile apps at the same time, each with its own updates, fixes, and feature requests. Releases often overlapped, and priorities shifted frequently as feedback came in. With a small, distributed team, it was easy for details to get lost without consistent coordination.
My Role I supported the team by acting as a central coordination point between the founder, developers, and contributors. My responsibility was to translate ideas and requests into actionable work, track progress across apps, and maintain visibility into what was in progress, blocked, or ready for release.
What I Did • Organized incoming feature requests, bug reports, and release tasks across multiple apps • Clarified scope and priorities as requirements evolved • Maintained task tracking and documentation so the team always had a clear source of truth • Supported release readiness by testing new features, documenting bugs and usability issues, and validating fixes • Followed up consistently to ensure nothing slipped through the cracks during busy release cycles
Impact • Releases became more predictable and easier to manage despite overlapping timelines • The team had clearer visibility into priorities and progress across apps • Reduced last-minute confusion and rework before releases • Allowed leadership to focus more on product direction while coordination and follow-through were handled reliably
