Let's contribute to a HITRECORD project such as Create Together or create our own version of Recipe Remix.

Let's focus on blogging at http://maker.dpl.online and tinkering here in the Digital Makerspace.

Let's very simply commit to creating and sharing 1 thing each from the DS106 Assignment Bank or the ANTH101 challenge list. Make it and share it here in DPL Digital Makerspace.

Design and produce our own schwag. We could co-design a Maker DPL logo and select an item (t-shirt, mug, stickers, etc) to be produced and shipped to each of us. Our core focus would be on graphic design and theme.

Design and produce a maker unbox. An Unbox is like a subscription box or a mystery box containing a variety of themed bits. We hypothesize that this can be a pedagogical tool, particularly for remote learners. Shipping something tactile and hands-on to isolated students , breeds a deeper connection and community. Students anticipate and celebrate its arrival and all have a collective shared experience to document. Think STEM box, craft box, or maker box.

Design and produce an event - a Maker Faire DPL to run sometime in October. This would involve virtual presentations and attempt to run much as a real Maker Faire, with booths and demos and mingling about - using something like hopin.to as a platform. We have interest from Airtable, Coda, Garnet Hertz, and Eric Paulos as participants.

Critical Maker Faire... same as above but with a distinct focus on Critical Making.
