My name is Mariana, but some people call me Mary. I am a Graphic Designer student in the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City.

My main interest is in UI / UX area then is motion design.

Before the pandemic I used to do a lot of exercise, I am part of the female team of ⚽ handball of the university. During my entire life I've been practicing different sports like: 🏊‍♀️ swimming - 🏀 basketball - 🎾 tennis and 🥋 taekwondo.

I still struggle to find time to do exercise in my room, but I'm working on it. Also I miss the games on the weekends so much! I hope we can return to do those activities soon.

I have zero experience in data visualization but I am so eager to learn and to start! The work of Giorgia Lupi inspired me so much, so I hope I can get to do something so beautiful.

Sub-topic idea

Dancing during COVID-19.

Sometimes I dance when I hear a song that I really like or when the music really invites you tu dance, so I wonder if there are other people that also do that anytime.

Also with Tik Tok there are dancing challenges, so maybe it also motivates people to dance more.

“When you dance, you can enjoy the luxury of being you,” the Brazilian author Paulo Coelho once wrote.
