Origin story
I was chatting with two of my friends about our obsession with Tiktok and how a lot of content creators are very very talented and how we learned a lot of new stuffs through Tiktok. We were wondering how all these content creators try to monetize their content besides ads and paid promotion and we bumped into an idea of creating a simple platform to accept donation and sell merchandise easily for all these content creators. Something like buymeacoffee and ko-fi that can accept payments from Indonesia, since all these two options only accept Paypal and other payment options that are not easily accessible by most Indonesian millenials and gen z.
"Hmm, this sounds like a 1-4 weeks no code project I can commit to and I've got a couple of friends that can definitely help to validate this idea" - my brain
Branding
We had a 10 minutes brainstorm and came up with the most random but I think pretty catchy name called Bruang 😜

Landing page design
Sketch has been my go-to designing tools, especially if I want to have a quick mockupor landing page design. Made the design using free icons available online. Once I'm happy with the design I then import my Sketch file to Figma.

Tools I'm using
For the app development, I'm using Bubble.io and I'll be using a template to save time and my brain also just works better when I reverse engineer stuff so I figured the best way for me to learn Bubble is to learn from examples.
