Products in GlobalReader provide additional value in combination with Shopfloor feedback (legacy) and Planner features. With Shopfloor feedback Operators can insert detailed production info to the GlobalReader environment which provides statistics for production details and processes.
The products page gives you an overview of all the products added to the system and their main information. Details highlighted for the products:
- Name - a name that you have for your product. Good to know! If you are using the Planner feature then product names need to be the exact same in Passport and Planner
- Workstation info - under the product name workstation information is displayed showing on which device this product can be selected for production.
- Max production - a set value for machines maximum speed/production for one minute for this specific product. Overrides the machine general max production setting for the period of product production.
- Min production - a set value for machines maximum speed/production for one minute for this specific product. Overrides the machine general max production setting for the period of product production.
- Multiplier - multiplies counts from sensors with the multiplier. E.g - 1 impulse means 1,5l of liquid then the multiplier is 1,5. Or getting the m2 of a product: counting product pcs and multiplying the readings in case same size products in a period of time. Or counting the presses and filling in the multiplier as number of products in a mould to get the number of products
On the Products page, you can search for products, use filters to see all products ever enter or only the actively used ones, and also sort products by name, min production, max production or multiplier.
