As our new Product Manager, you’ll help us turn business goals into real user value. This checklist will guide you through your first 30 days — to gain context, build relationships, and start driving outcomes.

🛠️ Preboarding (Before Day 1)

• [ ] Access to: Slack, Jira, Notion, Productboard, Amplitude (or GA)
• [ ] Sent welcome email + onboarding guide
• [ ] Assigned onboarding buddy (ideally another PM or team lead)
• [ ] Added to roadmap meetings and sprint schedule

📅 Week 1 – Product & People

🎯 Goal: Understand product, team structure, and user ecosystem

• [ ] Meet your squad: Eng, Design, QA, Data
• [ ] 1:1s with Engineering Manager + Tech Lead
• [ ] Walkthrough current product (live demo + known pain points)
• [ ] Review company mission, goals, OKRs
• [ ] Read product strategy and roadmap
• [ ] Read last 3 product docs or feature specs
• [ ] Analyze 1 recent release: what was shipped, why, and what changed
• [ ] Join 1–2 team ceremonies (planning, retro, daily)
