Problem Statement
Users frequently visit their Paytm Money Mutual Fund portfolio to check performance, but the
experience is mostly view-only. We want to encourage meaningful actions like Buy, Sell,
Switch, or Rebalance, without overwhelming users or reducing trust.
Assumptions Considered
To keep the solution focused and practical, I’m making the following assumptions based on the problem statement and the provided portfolio screen:
- Users are primarily long-term SIP investors, not frequent traders
- Users visit the portfolio mainly to check performance, not to manage funds actively
- The portfolio screen is a high-traffic, trust-sensitive surface
- Any prompts shown must remain non-advisory and informational in tone
- No new data science models or backend logic are available beyond existing portfolio data
- Users have basic financial awareness, but are not experts
I’ve designed the solution with these assumptions in mind.
