<aside> 💡 The Product Backlog contains the full list of all Epics and Stories that need to be delivered in the project. The most important Epics must be on the top of the Product Backlog and must be progressively elaborated as the team knows more about the requirement. Spend 4-6 hours a week “grooming” or add more details to this list.

Epics are larger bodies of work that are feature or component level encompassing many user stories. They are derived from the initial requirements as described in the Project Charter. Typically Epics takes several months to complete.

User stories are short, simple descriptions of a feature told from the perspective of the person who desires the new capability, usually a user or customer of the system, derived from an Epic. Create a new User Story to break down the Epic into smaller deliverables.
