The core combat mechanic in Shrine Wars.
Upon killing an enemy, the player “procs”, making them extremely powerful for a short duration, and also activates any weapon/armor proc effects. This enables proc chaining, where players feel invincible, ravaging enemies in their path. The proc's duration should be long enough to feel powerful but short enough to not be taken for granted (player should be afraid to lose the proc). Killing enemies without a proc should be difficult enough to justify the proc’s value.
