Your Weight Tracker - Weightly is designed with a "privacy-first" approach.
- Local Storage: All health data you enter (weight, dates, notes, and history) is stored locally on your device.
- No Personal Accounts: We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or log in to use the App.
- Sensitive Data: We do not collect or store your health data on our servers. Since the data stays on your phone, we cannot see, access, or sell your weight history or personal notes.
2. Permissions
To provide its core features, the App may request the following:
- Notifications: To send you reminders to weigh yourself (if enabled by you).
- Storage Access: Only if required to export/backup your data locally to your device.
3. Third-Party Services
While we do not collect your personal data, we may use third-party tools to improve the App:
- Analytics: We may use basic, anonymized tools (like Google Firebase or Apple Analytics) to track crashes and app usage patterns (e.g., "how many users clicked the chart button"). This does not include your weight or personal notes.
- Advertisements: The App may display ads. These providers may use device identifiers to serve relevant ads.
4. Data Security
Because your data is stored on your own device, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings (passcodes, biometrics). We recommend keeping your device updated and backed up.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Your Weight Tracker - Weightly does not currently offer a subscription model. Any future changes to this will be updated in this policy.
