Overview

TapeNight ("the app") is a movie discovery app that helps you find films available on your streaming services. This privacy policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the app:

• Email address — collected when you create an account, used solely for authentication and account recovery
• Streaming service preferences — the services you select in Settings, stored to filter movie recommendations for you

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your account
• To show you movies available on your selected streaming services
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal information to third parties
• We do not use your information for advertising

Data Storage

Your account information is stored securely using Supabase. Your email and preferences are stored in a private database and are not publicly accessible.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the TMDB API to retrieve movie data. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. TMDB's privacy policy applies to movie data retrieved through their service.
