Privacy Policy for Tanvoice Reader

Tanvoice Reader is a browser extension that reads selected webpage text aloud using a Tanvoice text-to-speech service configured by the user.

Data We Process

Tanvoice Reader processes only the text that the user actively selects on a webpage and chooses to read aloud. The extension may send that selected text to the Tanvoice API endpoint configured by the user in order to generate speech audio.

The extension stores the user's configuration, including API endpoint, API key, Voice ID, request field names, audio format, and optional JSON parameters, using Chrome extension storage.

Data We Do Not Collect

Tanvoice Reader does not collect browsing history, full webpage content, location data, payment information, health information, personal communications, or user activity logs. The extension does not track users across websites.

How Data Is Used

Selected text is used only to generate speech audio. Stored configuration is used only to call the user-configured Tanvoice text-to-speech service.

Data Sharing

Tanvoice Reader does not sell user data. Selected text may be transmitted to the Tanvoice API endpoint configured by the user solely for text-to-speech generation.

Remote Code

Tanvoice Reader does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. All executable code is included in the extension package.
